Health Update (Mole biopsy, papilloma) And advice to parents of young children.

So, first some young boy of an assistant pulled out my stitches from the biopsy, and drew a circle around the papilloma.

Today was the papilloma "surgery". I put it in quotes because it will take more time for me to explain what happened then it took to do it. I had to wait around for the doctor. When the doctor came in he bustled around for about half a minute, stuck a needle in my calf, sliced off the papilloma, cauterized the wound with a lazer pen, and told the assistant to put a bandage on it. Literially the whole proceedure took less time to do then it took you to read that sentence.

The results of my mole biopsy came back clean. My mole was congenital. So all you PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN out there TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR CHILDREN'S MOLES. It may save them some surgery down the road.

I can go swimming in treated pools tomorrow, natural ponds and streams in two to four weeks.
