Movies, and list of agenda

Yesterday I spent way to much time watching "Wanderers" and "Nausica" with B.

"Wanderers" is more accurate translation of the anime series titled "Plantes". The original was titled in Greek and the greek word for "wanderer" is "planet". There is a scene transition used frequently in the series that translates the title into several languages and the english translation is "wanderers". Anyway it is a soap-opera about a bunch of people who collect garbage in space.

"Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds" is a fairly classic Hayao Miyazaki ecological morality tale (banned in Poland!). Good for Pagans.

List of Agenda:

- Finish Spider
- Enter Dwarf Bread Quotes (although I could still look throught he other books for more quotes)
- copy dental bills
- - mail dental bills to insurance company
- write review of "Kushiel's Dart"
- Enter books in database
- - put away books
- hang up clothes
- do laundry
- hem new pants
- make Kimono, Hakama, and Kariginu

- vacuum living room J did it
- take out garbage
- dust bedroom
- enter addresses in database although that still needs work.
- Write up "fictional gods" page (Office Gods, Kushiels Dart, Discworld, Jo Clayton)
- Write up Pagan children's book recommendations
- mail cards
- get more addresses
- print out more cards
- wrap presents
- mail presents
- make more Dwarf bread
- make Springerle
- make Date Nut Pinwheels
- make pork pies
- go grocery shopping
- Start planning Neo-Socratic Symposium

Buy:
- Franklin planner refill
- Bathing suit
- exersize sneakers
- New good shoes
- avery 5160 address lables (printing envelopes is frustrating)

Banned in Poland?

Why would Nausicaä be banned in Poland?

Re: Banned in Poland?

Unsubstanciated rumor has it that the ecological message was considered too political.
