Goood Morning!

I woke up this morning with a kitten licking my knee :-).
She is curcled up against my ankle now (my little ankle biter).

Todays word from AWAD is philogyny (phi-LOJ-uh-nee) noun, Fondness of women.
[From Greek philogynia, from philo- (loving) + -gyn (woman).]
'I wondered if you were indicating that your personal ontogeny recapitulated ... philogyny.'
Jan Glidewell, I Think, Therefore I Mess Up, St. Petersburg Times (Florida), Feb 25, 1994.

And it came with this quote of the day:
A calamity that affects everyone is only half a calamity. -Italian proverb

So, I thought , where is the other half of the calamity? Ah, the other half is if only some people are suffering. It's one of those "we're all in this together" type aphorisms.
