Busy day, and not one of my best.

I had a speech to give tonight for Toastmasters. And I had put it off till the last minute as usual.

I had a 2:15 Dr appointment with Van Doren in Dryden. Then I got some lunch, came home checked the mail, cashed my check, got gas for the car.

And got to the gym a half hour late for class. I did a half hour of laps in the lap pool to make it up. (13 laps!)

Then I went to PEGASYS to pick up my camera and rushed home to make dinner and finish my speech.

I was late for the Toastmasters meeting, but not by much. My speech was OK but could have been better, if I had time to practice it more. Since I chose the day and the topic I have no one to blame but myself for that. I finally filled out the paperwork for a mentor, I hope she kicks my ass to keep me from procrastinating.

My knee was very bad today. It hurt to stand at all. I need to call the Orthopedist tomorrow. before i go to the 11am sleep study appointment. Dr Van Doren still has high hopes for the sleep apnea cure.

Do you think the laps are affecting your knee? In a good way or a bad one?

I don't stretch out before I swim...I'm starting to think I should I've been coming very close to getting cramps in my calves.

I just started doing them so they haven't had much time to do anything. But I don't think they are doing any harm.

Good point. I'm not really pushing myself yet, but that is something to keep in mind.

Yes, I saw it. But that is still too much thinking. I made myself a lap counter.
