'The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman

I sat down and read the whole thing this evening. It was a quick read. A bit longer than Coraline, but Coraline is about a 9 yr old girl and "The Graveyard Book" is about a 15 yr old boy. Well he is 15 at the end, he is only one and a half at the beginning.

It is a coming of age story. All about growing up, finding out who you are, and moving on from the protection of your family. Even if it is a very odd kind of family.

Bit of a self-fulling prophecy, what?

And I loved the bit where Silas gets hit by the car and Bod starts carrying on about "You killed my dad!". All I could think was that the undead are such practical jokers.

I heard about this book on NPR. I want to read it!
I recommend that you do so :-)
I try to read everything he writes. He really is an amazing writer.
I dunno if you saw this, but here are my thoughts on TGB. :)

I wrote a lot about it. ^^;;;; I have too much free time some days.
