"Wire in the blood"

I'm up to season 4. I still like the show. I still don't like the way the police behave.

Favorite Quote so far:
[the police inspector, the coroner, and Tony Hill the psychiatrist are looking at a the body of man wearing just his underwear, tied upright to a pillar inside a church. The body has seven wounds delivered post mortem.]
Tony: "Could have a religious significance."
Inspector: "Oh yeah, Tony. He's a Bishop and this is a church."

Edit: To bad the episode was so anti-Masonic. Standard gibberish about them being a "cult". Although that turned out to be a red herring. As a member of a religion that does practice vows and wave knives around I sympathize with the Masons.

Tony is strangely ignorant about religion.

Even an Atheist psychiatrist should understand that confessing your sins to a invisible friend can help (confessing to a person is the basis of therapy and in Catholicism people do confess to a person). He should also know that people do actually believe the more outrageous parts of the Bible.
