Unsolicited Advice

I recently gave some unsolicited advice to a friend, with no ill affect that I know of. The problem is that now I'm beginning to feel that giving advice is a Good Thing... and that is problematic. I seem to remember that in the past once I start meddling in other people's problems it only leads to drama. So, this is just a reminder to myself to keep my well intentioned "help" to myself if I want to keep my friends.

Oh, I know, I know. I have soooo much good advice. After all, I've had a lot of the problems and made most of the mistakes, some of them many, many times, so I know what to do. You'd think I'd have disciples sitting at my feet, and it is true I've often been referred to as "Ms Know-It-All". In general though, people don't seem to appreciate my advice as much as they should. Well, it's best to let people work it out for themselves anyway.
*giggle*
I love the way you write.
I will merely smile and remind you of the drama you had to go through with unsolicited advice being directed to YOU regarding a certain someone.

(^_^)
Exactly!
I love hearing advice from you about things dear, I just wish we could actually talk.
I try to keep my advice to those who bitch and complain about things and if they say "Well what can I do about that?", they have opened themselves up to whatever I want to tell them.
Ah, but then they have asked for it :-)
