"Undercover Boss"

I have watched the first two episodes of 'Undercover Boss". it's a new show about CEOs who go "undercover" at their own company to see what it is really like to work for them.

The first company was Waste Management, Inc. the second was Hooters.

The formula is clear. The boss tries several different jobs at several locations. He brings a camera crew, explaining that he is part of a documentary about entry level jobs, so people know why the camera crew is there. He meets nice hard working people. He gets fired from one job for being unable to do menial unskilled labor. He discovers one bad manager. And he discovers one good overworked manager (both women so far). In the end he calls everyone together, rewards the good, punishes the bad, and promises to be a better boss because of the experience.

My favorite part is when the CEO gets fired for being unable to do unskilled labor. The first guy got fired for being unable to collect garbage on a windy hillside. The second CEO got fired for being too slow as a busboy.

It feels very much like Morgan Spurlock's "30 Days".
