Cooking Book and Sweet and Sour Pork

I spent four hours working on the Family Cookbook this afternoon, until my I got a sharp pain in my hip from my computer chair. I feel really good about where the cookbook is right now.

I made Sweet and Sour Pork for dinner. I used red pepper flakes. They really bring out the sweat. But it is very tasty. I had a Rösti for breakfast. It takes a while to cook but it is worth it.

My Aunt Susan sent me a bunch of her favorite Thai recipes that call for a lot of red pepper flakes and Sriracha sauce. So I'm trying to ramp up my heat tolerance.

Does anyone have any spare plastic (or glass) spice bottles with the shaker tops? I bought a bunch of bulk spices that I cannot possibly use so I need smaller spice bottles so I can give spices away as gifts. In related news, anyone want any filé powder or mustard powder? Or some of my custom Yankee Dry Rub? It's great for pot roast, or any kind of roast meat really. I can also hook you up with a papaya seed/black pepper mix.
