A nice man came over to my house and took me out for dinner.
J was in town for an event Saturday night and stayed at my place. I had hoped to have the place really cleaned up before he got here but I didn't succeed. Well at least I got more done than I would have if he hadn't come over.
He took me out to dinner at Diamond's and breakfast at the Sunset Grill.
I have not been to Diamond's in a long time. I had: a Mango Lassi (I love mango lassi), the Vegetable Pakoras, and the Chicken Kashmiri. I ordered the Chicken Kashmiri mild and it was very mild. I will have to try something a bit more adventurous next time I go there. Their rice has peas in it and I did eat the peas.
At the Sunset Grill I ordered the Eggs Benedict, with spinach and fruit salad. They don't always have the Eggs Benedict, it was a special. I also ordered a single banana pancake. Bananas have a very strong flavor.
It's the end of the month so I really appreciate being taken out to eat.
