Cat Tent from an Old T-Shirt

I made a cat tent from an old T-shirt.

It is a bit of a disappointment. A cardboard box with a hole in the side would be easier and offer more creative potential. You could even decorate the box with an old t-shirt.

*sigh* I've put it in the computer room. I will see if Callie uses it.

I've started locking her in the computer room at night so Ninshurbur and Daisy can come out of my bedroom to eat and use the bathroom. I have to pick Ninshurbur up and carry her into the bathroom to show her it is safe.

Yesterday when I woke up from my afternoon nap Daisy was glaring at me from her perch. It turned out Callie had come in as far as the foot of my bed.

Callie has not objected to being locked in at night, yet, she still sees the computer room as her safe space. When she is home she gets locked outdoors during the day and indoors at night so this is not much different.

Callie does love me, so I'm going to miss her when Marilyn comes back this week.

I like the idea. I know a lot of people with cats (indoor and outdoor) who might like it, so I posted it to Facebook.

I do have a cardboard box with a hole in it (and a warm kitty bed inside it) for Outside Cat (O.C.).
I might try to get a bunch of boxes and make vertical maze they can climb around inside.
