Sunday

The navy bean soup turned out well. Dad had three bowls. This afternoon I found dad cutting up a cabbage in the kitchen. He wanted it to be turned into food but he didn't have strong feelings about what kind of food. So I agreed to fry it up. I asked dad to chop it up and he used the shredder to chop it very fine. I added a finely sliced onion and some salt and pepper and cooked it over high heat to get some caramelization. Dad liked the bean soup so much he hardly ate any of the cabbage. I thought the cabbage turned out pretty good, for cabbage. And I have 2 quarts of soup left for lunches.

When I stood up after dinner my left leg went on strike to protest the working conditions. Resulting in me sitting down again very quickly. It took me several tries to stand up. I am not happy about this. But there doesn't seem to be anything I can do about it.

Other than that everything is going fine.
