Friday

Friday went well.

I took a nap in the afternoon and discovered that there was a robin living in the tree outside my window who feels very strongly about his territory. He threw himself at the window all afternoon. It is quite noisy and I worry that he will hurt himself. Luckily for me he stops when the sun goes down. Although he starts right back up when the sun rises which is why I woke up at 5:30 this morning. Any suggestions for getting him to stop?

For dinner I went out and redeemed the meal tickets mother had purchased. Father and I had fried fish dinners with french fries and coleslaw from a truck in the auto parts store parking lot.

Today I intend to drive to Ithaca, have lunch with Song, and bring back dinner. After that I have no plans for the rest of the week.

He's probably seeing his reflection in the glass. Try putting some paper strips across the window to break up the image.
That is a good idea. I was thinking more along the lines of a hawk silhouette but I don't have any black paper or any idea what a hawk silhouette looks like.

Luckily he seems to have given up.
