Paper Snowflakes and Mothra vs. Godzilla

I went to bloodsong1's with B this weekend. We were supposed to help her put Yule decorations. The cold weather and technical difficulties got in the way of the outside decorating. But she and B got the inside decorations changed over from Fall to Winter. I made some paper snow flakes. I was trying to get the kids involved with decorating. The kids liked the snow flakes but The Cuteness is too young to do crafts that involve scissors and IDK was not interested in making his own. I enjoyed making the snowflakes. It gives me some ideas. I tried to make a paper crane but I forgot the pattern and the internet was down so I couldn't look it up.

We watched Mothra vs. Godzilla. Which is one of the classic old Godzilla movies. I don't think I had ever watched a Godzilla movie all the way through before.

I need to do something about how cold it is at my computer. My fingers and toes are freezing.

I need to look up how to make cranes again. My cranes tend to have beaks that look like they ran into a wall. :/
II just did a google search and found the pattern.
You need good paper and nice sharp creases. Mine is a bit lopsided.
Wayne bought me the whole boxed set of Godzilla movies for Christmas a couple of years ago. It has the original Japanese versions and then the American versions. Very cool.
Wikipedia says the whole section about the American Frontier Missiles was added to the American version of Mothra vs. Godzilla and didn't exist in the Japanese version.
