I would hardly say that the Brontosaurus is officially a dinosaur again. At best, the science is not settled on the matter.

At best, one group of researchers have made a proposal, backed by evidence, that the Brontosaur and Apatosaur are separate, as Marsh originally proposed (they even distinguish them based on the same anatomical features Marsh did in 1879). But those researchers' work hasn't been thoroughly examined by the majority of their peers yet, nor have their conclusions had time to be broadly accepted. It's worth re-examining the arguments put forth in 1905 lumping them together, and perhaps they will be split apart again.

But to be official, that decision would have to be made by a nomenclature committee which hasn't even been asked to take up the issue yet.
